EGO placebo is the third full-length album from moonslang

It feels like our generation is always longing, searching for answers, trying to find meaning in a world of chaos. The more we see, the less we know. Information and misinformation move past our eyes at lightning speed, and we find that the foundations we were raised on were built on shaky ground. We're left with a void to stare into and gleam answers from; a collective spiritual journey.
This album explores this idea both metaphorically and literally - by taking the listener on a supernatural odyssey through an alternate dimension. A journey through the mind to find the soul's reflection. If you reject the world as you currently see it, how easy is it to get lost in the possibilities of what could be? If there really is something greater out there, how can you tell what's real from what's in your head? If you replace the pieces of yourself one at a time, will you recognize yourself by the end? And if this world is truly nothing but chaos, then maybe this entire thought experiment has been pointless from the start, and we should all just accept our place in the middle of it all.
The answers to the se questions are yours to find. I provide my own, but they're just one person's perspective.
